the work
DIY-ERP delivers Microsoft Business Central implementations in under 20 weeks — a product whose entire pitch is "faster than the thing you're used to," which meant the site itself couldn't afford to be slow. Built with Next.js and Payload CMS, the front end is fast, statically optimised, and image-served through Next's pipeline; the back end gives the client full editorial control over every block, industry page, and case study without touching code. I handled the front-end build and CMS architecture: Payload collections and block-based page building, dynamic industry and case study routing, dynamic OG image generation via a Next route handler, a video explainer section, a gated demo form, animated cost and timeline counters, and a traditional-vs-DIY comparison module that does the persuasive heavy lifting on the homepage. The design brief was enterprise software without the enterprise software feeling — clean, confident, and quick enough that nobody notices the tech, which is the point.
